The third SWEET Conference was held on 4 September 2024 in Bern

The third SWEET Conference was held on 4 September 2024 at the Eventforum in Bern, organized by the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (SFOE).

SWEET EDGE co-leaders attended the conference for the third time, joining over 100 researchers and representatives from business and government. The SWEET conferences provide a platform for the exchange between research and implementation. They are aimed at researchers from current and future SWEET consortia, as well as experts from energy research and representatives from the private sector, associations, cantons, cities, municipalities, and the federal government.

This year, to enhance opportunities for interaction among different stakeholders, more time was allocated to the "marketplace." The "marketplace" is a space where each consortium can present its latest results and engage in discussions. Additionally, the afternoon’s discussions focused on "Communication to business and politics."
